A pro-Gaza hacking group, known as “Cyber Toufan”, has claimed responsibility for breaching the systems of Israeli defense contractor Maya, releasing internal documents, alleged weapons blueprints and several hours of CCTV cameras recordings.

Maya specializes in developing and producing mechanical and electrical products for the civilian, medical, and defense industries in Israel.

Among the leaked materials is footage showing what appears to be work on a mock-up of David’s Sling, an air-defense system jointly developed by Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and the U.S. contractor Raytheon. The system became operational in 2017.

David’s Sling is designed to intercept aircraft, drones, tactical ballistic missiles, medium- to long-range rockets, and cruise missiles launched from 40 to 300 km. It is intended to replace the MIM-23 Hawk and the MIM-104 Patriot systems in the Israeli arsenal.

Cyber Toufan has been active throughout the ongoing conflict, previously targeting Israeli government entities, logistics companies, and infrastructure-related firms.

The hacking group focuses on data exfiltration and public leaks rather than destructive attacks. It has previously released thousands of internal documents belonging to Israeli entities, exposing internal communications, operational footage, and sensitive design files.

Their operations often involve coordinated data dumps across several Telegram channels and dark web platforms, usually accompanied by politically charged statements.
